As an IBM writer and editor Richard wrote and managed IBM publications (INTERNAL AND EXTERNAL) in IBM Canada, and was the Canadian representative to the IBM Worldwide Publications Council headquartered in White Plains, New York. Richard has been editor to famous Canadians such as; Diane Francis, Peter C. Newman and the former Premier of Ontario, David Peterson.
He was the writer for the 1998 IBM Chairman’s Environmental Award submission that won the international award over 40 other IBM country submissions. At IBM Richard also won both an ‘AA’ Award and a ‘Charles Award’ for his writing.
